Farm Property Insurance Claims Adjuster

Manage farm property claims for Wawanesa through policy analysis, investigation, and negotiation in a hybrid role available across Canada. Support members throughout resolution.
The Claims Adjuster 2, Property contributes to an exceptional claims experience by fairly adjusting moderate to high complexity property claims. You will explain policy coverages, document claim files, coordinate appraisers and contractors, and provide timely service. The role requires accurate decisions and professional communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Support members throughout the claims process with empathy
Communicate promptly through voice, digital, and written correspondence
Conduct comprehensive investigations into coverage and liability
Coordinate appraisers, independent adjusters, and contractors
Review repair estimates and create narrative scopes
Requirements:
One to two years of insurance adjusting or equivalent experience
Excellent listening, written, and spoken communication skills
Strong problem solving and critical thinking abilities
Working toward Chartered Insurance Professional designation
Detail orientation and accurate data entry skills
Use investigation, estimating, and communication expertise to manage farm and property claims for Wawanesa members nationwide.
