Deliver comprehensive acute care nursing at Hunter Memorial Hospital with Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority, working days and nights at 0.55 FTE.
This Clinical Registered Nurse position provides patient, resident, and client care under established standards, policies, and procedures. The successful candidate brings acute care experience, clinical nursing competence, and sound decision-making. When assigned charge responsibilities, the nurse provides clinical leadership to HCAs, Unit Clerks, LPNs, and Registered Nurses while supporting interdisciplinary care.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, residents, and clients
Practice according to standards, policies, procedures, and legislation
Provide clinical leadership when assigned charge responsibilities
Support Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority mission, vision, and values
Requirements:
Active Manitoba registered nurse or psychiatric nurse licensure
Current Basic Life Support training
One year acute care experience within the past five years
Clinical nursing competence aligned with practice and nursing standards
Critical thinking, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
