As an Electrician with Health Shared Services, you will perform complex maintenance and repairs under minimal supervision. The work uses schematics, blueprints, specialized test equipment, accepted codes, standards, regulations, and procedures. Responsibilities include installing, assembling, laying out, and maintaining electrical systems and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform complex electrical maintenance and repairs
Read schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications
Lay out, assemble, and install electrical systems
Operate specialized test equipment during troubleshooting
Participate in rotating on-call responsibilities and shifts
Requirements:
Accredited Journeyperson Electrician Certificate with Alberta Red Seal
Valid Class 5 Alberta Operator’s Licence
Minimum five years’ Journeyperson Electrician experience
Experience with high-voltage and 600-volt distribution systems
Hospital equipment, fire alarm, and emergency generation experience
