Industrial Machinery Maintenance Technician

Plan and execute millwright activities with Wood on the Hibernia Platform, using drawings to support offshore mechanical equipment reliability.
Wood’s Operations team is seeking an Industrial Millwright / Mechanical Fitter for casual or temporary adhoc work. The assignment serves the oil and gas petrochemical industry offshore Newfoundland and Labrador. Work occurs as needed through call-out scheduling, with responsibilities spanning machinery installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting. The position is unionized.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan millwright activities in accordance with drawings
Execute activities according to technical specifications
Install and maintain stationary industrial machinery
Repair and troubleshoot mechanical equipment
Work across indoor and outdoor operating conditions
Requirements:
Availability for adhoc casual or temporary work
Willingness to work offshore on the Hibernia Platform
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather
Completion of medical, drug, and alcohol testing
Bring industrial machinery maintenance, technical drawing, repair, and troubleshooting capabilities to Wood’s offshore millwright assignment.
