Fraser Health seeks Hospitalist physicians for Delta Hospital, with virtual overnight call from home and remote care available up to 20%. Acute care experience matters.
This permanent part-time, full-time, or locum practice supports a 24-hour Hospitalist program in British Columbia. Physicians manage acute medical patients as Most Responsible Physician and work with Medical and Allied Health staff. The average census is 58, with four daytime Hospitalists and one evening Hospitalist.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage acute medical patients as Most Responsible Physician
Support 24-hour Hospitalist program coverage
Provide 8-hour evening admission shift coverage
Participate in 9-hour rotating overnight call shifts
Deliver up to 20% patient care remotely
Requirements:
Interest in developing an acute care hospital practice
Strong clinical and communication skills
Exceptional bedside manner
Collaborative approach with inter-professional team members
ACLS, CCFP, CPSBC eligibility, CPSBC Full, or FRCPC
Support Delta Hospital patients as a Fraser Health Hospitalist physician using acute care, communication, and collaborative practice skills.
