This Family Physician opportunity supports operative obstetrical skills within a collaborative maternity team. The practice may include C-section call, low-risk obstetrics, longitudinal primary care, and emergency medicine. Prince Rupert’s team includes family physicians, advanced surgical physicians, midwives, perinatal nurses, and specialist support.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the C-section call rota
Maintain operative obstetrical skills in rural practice
Provide low-risk obstetrical care when selected
Deliver longitudinal primary care when selected
Support emergency medicine when selected
Requirements:
Family Physician training and practice
Operative obstetrical skills
Interest in flexible rural medicine
Willingness to work alongside maternity teams
