TraduWEB seeks a Simultaneous Interpreter for English and Portuguese language services. The work includes simultaneous and consecutive interpreting, preparation with agendas and reference materials, and terminology across legal, financial, technical, and mining fields. The interpreter coordinates with organizers and technical staff while supporting culturally appropriate communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide real-time simultaneous English–Portuguese interpretation through ZOOM
Prepare by reviewing agendas and reference materials
Build familiarity with specialized subject-matter terminology
Coordinate with event organizers and technical staff
Manage interpreting equipment when required
Requirements:
Advanced English and Portuguese proficiency
Strong simultaneous and consecutive interpreting skills
Excellent listening, speaking, and note-taking abilities
Training or certification in interpreting, translation, or linguistics
Availability for flexible conference schedules and Canadian work authorization
