Michaels Assistant Store Manager

Lead retail operations at Michaels in Saskatoon, using inventory management and team supervision to support a customer-centric shopping experience. This full-time position includes nights, weekends, and early mornings.
As Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager with sales, profit, and team performance objectives. You will help manage Standard Operating Procedures, merchandise operations, freight flow, planograms, and shrink programs. The position also includes hiring, training, coaching, scheduling, and developing Team Members.
Key Responsibilities:
Support sales plans, profit plans, and store performance objectives
Supervise Team Members and maintain customer-centric shopping experiences
Manage inventory, freight flow, planograms, and merchandise operations
Schedule workloads, hours, vacations, and approved time off
Serve as Manager on Duty and oversee store standards
Requirements:
Retail management leadership experience
Ability to remain standing and move throughout the store
Ability to bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly
Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings
