Charge Medical Laboratory Technologist

Lead laboratory operations at Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll through technical supervision, quality control, and bench work. This position requires current Ontario MLT registration.
Rural Roads Health Services seeks a Charge Medical Laboratory Technologist for its Laboratory Services Department. The position provides daily mentoring, competency assessment, workload support, and laboratory quality oversight. Five years of core laboratory experience and current phlebotomy experience are required.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor staff and provide daily technical supervision
Support onboarding, competency assessment, and SOP adherence
Monitor reagents, QC materials, and laboratory supplies
Troubleshoot QC issues outside established standards
Lead equipment validation and implementation activities
Requirements:
Current CMLTO registration in good standing
Five years of core laboratory work experience
Current phlebotomy experience
Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science degree is an asset
Availability for days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
