Lead FedEx Express sort operations while supporting Safety Above All and guiding Cargo Handlers through safe, compliant package handling.
This frontline supervisor position manages day-to-day station sort activities and assigned Cargo Handlers. You will direct routing, recovery of potential service failures, and work activities. The position also emphasizes mentoring, coaching, training, and administrative compliance with FedEx Express policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily sort operations within the station
Lead proper package handling and routing activities
Recover potential service failures during station sorting
Direct Cargo Handler work activities and functions
Ensure administrative processes follow policies and regulations
Requirements:
College degree
Twelve months of sort operations experience required
Valid driver’s license and good driving record
Ability to lift 70 pounds and maneuver 150-pound packages
Ability to complete training and maintain DG certification
Use sort operations leadership, safety awareness, and employee coaching to support FedEx Express station performance.
