Industrial Maintenance Millwright Technician

Use industrial maintenance and mechanical repair skills at Skretting, supporting feed manufacturing through inspections, troubleshooting, and equipment upkeep. This role follows rotating 12-hour day and night shifts.
As a Maintenance Technician with Skretting, a Nutreco company, you will maintain plant facilities and equipment in reliable condition. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, equipment repairs, light fabrication, boiler and compressor monitoring, and basic electrical tasks. Accurate records and clear communication support daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose equipment problems and complete necessary repairs
Replace fuses and reset electrical overloads
Reconnect motors during basic electrical work
Identify maintenance concerns and recommend corrective actions
Update work orders and computerized maintenance records
Requirements:
Two or more years in manufacturing maintenance
Grade 12 diploma required
Millwright or red seal maintenance mechanic experience considered an asset
Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills
Effective communication with diverse stakeholders
Bring mechanical troubleshooting, electrical basics, and maintenance documentation skills to Skretting’s industrial feed production environment.
