Echocardiographer Cardiac Diagnostic Testing

Perform cardiac diagnostic testing as an Echocardiographer with Scarborough Health Network at Centenary Site. Apply echocardiography expertise to support physician diagnosis.
Reporting to the Manager, the Echocardiographer provides diagnostic testing and assists physicians diagnosing patients with cardiac and associated disorders. This temporary, part-time assignment lasts 12 months and includes Saturday work and vacation coverage for full-time staff. The position supports SHN’s cardiac care services across a diverse community.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide diagnostic testing for cardiac and associated disorders
Assist physicians in diagnosing patients
Work Saturdays as scheduled
Provide vacation coverage for full-time staff
Participate in safety in-service education
Requirements:

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer credential
ARDMS certification and current BCLS certification
Minimum one year of clinical experience
Clinical experience with TEE
Experience with Doppler techniques, including Dobutamine Stress
Bring echocardiography, TEE, and Doppler expertise to cardiac diagnostic services at Scarborough Health Network’s Centenary Site.
