Industrial maintenance specialists can apply precision measurement and mechanical repair skills at P&H Milling in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The position is full-time permanent.
As a Certified Millwright, you will maintain stationary machinery, mechanical equipment, and plant facilities for P&H Milling. Daily work includes precision measurements, lubrication, diagnosis, repairs, and hydraulic troubleshooting. The role also involves dusty, hot, and outdoor environments, with required training supporting safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Use micrometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators
Diagnose machinery faults and complete equipment repairs
Perform lubrication and preventative maintenance activities
Complete general facility maintenance and equipment servicing
Follow health, safety, and food safety training
Requirements:
Journeyman or Red Seal Millwright certification
Welding and fabrication experience
Ability to work in dusty, hot, outdoor environments
Ability to work independently and within a team
Capacity to lift up to 25 kg
Use certified millwright, precision measurement, and mechanical repair capabilities to maintain reliable P&H Milling equipment in Halifax.
