The Total Portfolio Management group leads CIO strategies, asset allocation recommendations, liquidity, funding, trading, and sophisticated analytics. In this student position, you will provide portfolio analysis and research, synthesize insights, and support strategic investment direction. You will interact with Trading and collaborate across investment teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide portfolio analysis and research identifying enhancement opportunities
Conduct scenario analysis for portfolio construction and strategies
Synthesize analysis into concise stakeholder messages
Distill insights when analyzing portfolios and strategies
Help communicate Total Plan strategic investment direction
Requirements:
Degree in business, economics, quantitative, or related field
Interest in currency, thematic research, and macro-economics
Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn
Strong attention to detail and big-picture perspective
Proactive, collaborative ability to manage multiple priorities
Use research, scenario analysis, and clear communication to support OMERS investment strategy and portfolio management priorities.
