Limited Duration ELL Classroom Teacher
School District 57 (Prince George)
Teach English language learners across Grades K-7 with School District No. 57 in a 0.2 FTE limited duration contract.
Based at Buckhorn Elementary School, this teaching assignment serves elementary learners in Prince George. The successful applicant will use varied teaching strategies, inquiry learning, and assessment practices. Experience with trauma-informed practice, Indigenous curriculum integration, and social emotional learning is preferred or required where specified.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop positive and organized classroom environments
Apply varied teaching and learning strategies
Integrate First Nations culture and traditions
Provide experiential or inquiry learning experiences
Use assessment to support student learning
Requirements:
Teaching Certificate issued by the BC Ministry
Knowledge of First Nations Principles and reconciliation
Demonstrated collaborative team experience
Technology integration experience in curriculum
Valid driver’s license and travel willingness
Use assessment, inquiry learning, and culturally responsive teaching to support Grade K-7 ELL students at Buckhorn Elementary School.
