Supply Chain Production Planner

Supply chain planning expertise meets daily production scheduling at Bimbo Canada, supporting product availability, service levels, and cost efficiency. Collaborate across functions while managing production demand.
The Supply Chain Planner balances demand, supply, and production capacity for Bimbo Canada’s bakery network. This position develops production plans, manages short-term alignment, maintains planning data, and supports continuous improvement. Success requires analytical problem-solving, planning systems knowledge, Excel proficiency, and cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and update optimized daily bake plans
Run DRP and create transfer orders and deliveries
Monitor plant performance and adjust production plans
Manage purchase orders for materials and supplies
Track supply chain KPIs and recommend corrective actions
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in supply chain
Three to five years’ manufacturing planning experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Planning systems experience, including Oracle, SAP, or similar
Understanding of MRP, MPS, and DRP concepts
Apply production planning, supply analysis, and cross-functional communication to support Bimbo Canada’s bakery supply chain.
