Childbirth Registered Nurse Kitchener

Provide childbirth nursing at WRHN @ Midtown in Kitchener, coordinating antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care for patients and neonates. This is temporary unscheduled part time work.
As a Registered Nurse with WRHN, you will support high and low risk patients within a family and patient centred framework. The position includes 12 hour days, nights, and weekends, with the assignment lasting approximately until February 2027. You will contribute to safety for patients, staff, and visitors while delivering coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate care for antenatal patients and neonates
Provide care during intrapartum and postpartum periods
Support high and low risk childbirth patients
Promote family and patient centred care
Help maintain a safe environment for everyone
Requirements:
Current College of Nurses of Ontario competence certificate
Current BCLS and NRP Provider status
Two years recent Surgery, Medicine, or Emergency nursing experience
Mandatory breastfeeding and Fetal Health Surveillance courses
Critical thinking, communication, and acute-care capabilities
Bring registered nursing expertise, perinatal knowledge, and patient-centred care to childbirth services at WRHN @ Midtown.
