Shape ebook discovery research at Yaqeen Institute through qualitative interviews, synthesis, and product-focused recommendations. This contract is approximately 20 hours monthly.
As a UX/UI Researcher, you will own a four-month study of Yaqeen’s English-language ebook library. You will review 2024 research, examine survey results, recruit readers, and investigate changing search habits, including AI tools. Your findings will inform product, editorial, and marketing decisions.
Key Responsibilities:

Set research questions and objectives with the Product Manager
Write discussion guides connected to tracked product outcomes
Recruit and interview participants across reader segments
Synthesize findings against the 2024 research
Present prioritized recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements:

Qualitative user research experience from recruitment through synthesis
Ability to write neutral, open-ended interview questions
Strong affinity mapping and thematic analysis skills
Clear writing and presentation skills
Understanding of Muslim communities and faith-sensitive discussions
Apply qualitative research, interview, and synthesis expertise to improve Yaqeen’s ebook library and reader experience.
