Host Family Qualification Ambassador

Qualify host families through in-person home visits and strong interpersonal skills across Simcoe County, Barrie, and surrounding areas. Support hosts nationally online.
The Canada Homestay Network Society seeks a permanent full-time Host Ambassador reporting to the Host Capacity Lead. You will assess new and existing families against CHN standards of care. The work combines home visits, documentation, communication, and host program promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-person interviews and home visits for new hosts
Revisit existing host families in their homes
Confirm rooms and family environments meet required standards
Email supporting documentation according to CHN protocols
Validate information provided during virtual interviews
Requirements:
Excellent sales and interpersonal skills
Positive communication and conflict resolution skills
Ability to develop colleague and community relationships
Working knowledge of email clients or webmail
Full valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
