Coach ambitious high school students through the pre-med pathway with medical admissions expertise and empathetic guidance. Work fully remotely with flexibility designed around medical student schedules.
AdmissionPrep is seeking current Canadian medical students to mentor students before university and throughout admissions planning. You will help families understand undergraduate choices, extracurricular development, GPA expectations, MCAT timing, Casper preparation, and OMSAS ABS requirements. Your coaching will also strengthen accountability, time management, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
Map undergraduate programs and course selections
Develop strategies for meaningful extracurricular activities
Break down application components and institutional requirements
Help students build competitive, well-rounded profiles
Foster accountability, time management, and mental stamina
Requirements:
Active MD candidate at a Canadian medical school
Personal success navigating the medical admissions cycle
Passion for supporting future doctors
Ability to explain complex requirements clearly
Empathy for student and parent anxiety
Use your lived medical school admissions experience to coach pre-med students with structure, compassion, and actionable direction.
