Own senior living search strategy remotely with Blacksmith Agency, guiding technical SEO and content priorities across Canada, South Africa, or the USA.
As an SEO Strategist, Senior Living, you lead search for senior living operators and home care agencies with many communities. You set technical roadmaps, explain ranking movement, and make strategic decisions for clients. The role focuses exclusively on search, separate from paid media.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage crawl, indexation, site speed, schema, and site architecture
Develop keyword strategy and on-page optimization priorities
Guide content priorities with writers and AI
Improve visibility across AI and organic search
Report in GA4 and Search Console quarterly
Requirements:
Three or more years of hands-on SEO experience
Experience running audits and implementing technical fixes
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
Agency experience managing several clients simultaneously
Clear spoken English for live calls with US clients
Bring technical SEO, content strategy, and client communication skills to Blacksmith Agency’s senior living search practice.
