Manufacturing Cost Accounting Manager

Lead manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, and month-end reporting at Hagen Industries, an on-site employer in Ville Saint-Laurent. Advanced Excel is essential.
This senior accounting role connects Finance with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Operations. You will improve costing accuracy, master data, processes, and financial visibility while supporting ERP and continuous-improvement initiatives. Your analysis will inform management decisions, budgets, forecasts, and new product costing.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct month-end cost accounting and manufacturing variance reporting
Ensure inventory valuation across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
Provide profitability, margin, cost, and KPI analysis
Partner with Operations to improve cost control and productivity
Strengthen financial controls and cost accountability through ERP initiatives
Requirements:
Five-plus years’ progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing costing
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field
Knowledge of BOMs, routings, standard costs, and inventory valuation
Advanced Excel; Power BI or business-intelligence tools are assets
Experience with ERP systems; SYSPRO is a strong asset
