This temporary full-time counsellor serves Maple Creek Composite, Sidney Street, Wymark and Consul Schools. The position covers in-school counselling duties apart from career counselling. You will support students and families, promote wellness, and help build skills across school communities.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students facing daily challenges and learning barriers
Connect students and families with wellness resources
Lead preventative programs that build school community skills
Advocate for students and restore relationships
Contribute to a strong, diverse school team
Requirements:

Training, education and experience in counselling, psychology or social work
Effective communication with staff, students and families
Comfort working in crisis management areas
Ability to build skills among staff, students and families
Commitment to Chinook School Division principles and goals
Bring counselling, communication and crisis management skills to student services across Chinook School Division schools in Saskatchewan.
