Put safety first as a Sun West School Division Bus Driver serving Eston Route 2 and Eston Composite School. Use inspections, reporting, and sound decisions.
This permanent position starts as soon as possible and transports students northwest of Eston to Eston. The successful applicant operates scheduled routes, follows regulations, records inspections and incidents, and maintains a respectful bus environment. Basic technology skills support email, mobile apps, and electronic reporting or scheduling systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain a safe and respectful passenger environment
Record routes, inspections, incidents, and related information
Report delays, accidents, and mechanical concerns promptly
Make sound decisions while transporting students
Requirements:
Responsible, patient, and safety-oriented approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license with S endorsement or willingness to obtain
First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Basic computer and technology skills
