AutoCAD Curtain Wall Draftsperson
BVGlazing Systems
AutoCAD expertise meets commercial curtain wall drafting in Niagara Falls, Ontario, producing detailed drawings, take-offs, and fabrication documents. Work with BVGlazing Systems.
As a Draftsperson, you will support commercial curtain wall and fenestration projects for BV Glazing and Quest Windows. Your work includes system details, floor plans, elevations, material procurement forms, and project-specific fabrication drawings. You will use AutoCAD, Excel, Google Sheets, and Autodesk 3D modeling programs while collaborating with project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Create accurate shop drawings using AutoCAD
Prepare material procurement forms for project components
Produce fabrication drawings for assemblies and infills
Maintain crate, frame tracking sheets, and bills of materials
Participate in project engineering team meetings
Requirements:
Three to five years of similar experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Ability to read architectural and structural drawings
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and Microsoft Office skills
Strong accuracy, communication, and attention to detail
