Senior Financial Lines Claims Specialist

Apply Financial Lines expertise to complex claims at Definity, using bilingual communication and technical coverage analysis in a hybrid role.
This Senior Specialist manages cyber liability, directors’ and officers’ liability, employment practices liability, and miscellaneous professional liability claims. You will handle claims from investigation through resolution with moderate supervision. The work includes strategy and coverage discussions, stakeholder collaboration, negotiations, and recovery efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze coverage for complex claims under multiple liability policies
Investigate, negotiate, and resolve claims with moderate supervision
Coordinate recovery opportunities and related efforts
Manage counsel, litigation plans, budgets, and routine payments
Engage underwriting, reinsurance, actuarial, and senior leadership stakeholders
Requirements:
AMF Loss Adjuster 5A License
Bilingual French and English communication skills
Eight to ten years of general claims handling experience
Financial Lines claims experience preferred
Degree, recognized diploma, or completed CIP designation
