Commercial claims adjusting meets bilingual service at WSI, where French and English support clients and stakeholders across Canada. Work from the head office with external counsel and vendors.
As a Claims Specialist, you will manage commercial liability claims across varying severity and complexity. The position combines investigation, analysis, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution with customer-centric service. Experience levels may shape the assigned portfolio, responsibility, and claim complexity.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate and adjust assigned commercial liability claims efficiently
Establish and maintain claim reserves proactively and promptly
Respond to internal and external customer enquiries
Collaborate with approved counsel toward efficient claim resolution
Monitor independent adjusters and counsel within budgets
Requirements:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Superior French and English written and verbal proficiency
Relevant degree or equivalent education and experience
AMF Commercial Claims Adjuster Certificate or Quebec Bar membership
Liability claims experience and three to five years preferred
Bring bilingual communication, commercial claims judgment, and collaborative adjusting expertise to WSI’s specialty insurance team.
