Senior Biology Science Teacher
Crescent School
Teach Senior Biology at Crescent School in mid-Toronto, using differentiated instruction and meaningful learning technology. Build relationships while educating boys.
This LTO serves the 2026/2027 academic year within Crescent School’s Upper School. The certified teacher will plan, implement, and assess character-infused science curriculum. Relational teaching, mentoring, and creative classroom practices support student growth and development. Professional growth and collaboration with colleagues remain central.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and assess modern, relevant science curriculum
Use differentiated instruction and creative teaching strategies
Employ meaningful learning technology in units
Mentor boys individually and in groups
Participate in co-curricular programs and professional development
Requirements:
BSc or MSc, BEd, and Ontario College of Teachers membership
At least two years teaching science
Senior Science qualifications with Biology specialization
Strong relationship, communication, and organizational skills
Commitment to boy-centric teaching and educational excellence
