Grocery Department Manager White Rock

Lead Grocery operations at Nature's Fare Markets in White Rock, using organic food knowledge and strong leadership across AM/PM shifts.
This temporary 12-month Department Manager role oversees the Grocery department’s daily operations and performance. You will guide staffing, stocking, customer service, inventory, budgets, and profitability while developing the department. The position requires retail management experience, clear communication, and availability for evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct daily Grocery team tasks and provide in-the-moment coaching
Set customer service standards and monitor operational performance
Manage inventory, write orders, and reduce food waste
Analyze profit and loss statements and monitor department sales
Collaborate on hiring, evaluations, coaching, and performance conversations
Requirements:
Minimum three years in management or supervisory roles
Previous retail experience in customer-centric environments
Passion for organic food, natural medicine, and grocery retail
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Availability for AM/PM shifts, weekdays, evenings, and weekends
