Carrier Sekani Family Services
Support youth services in Prince George with Carrier Sekani Family Services, using crisis response and life skills facilitation. This is full-time work through August 2027.
As a Youth Care Worker, you will support day-to-day Youth Services operations at CSFS. You will provide education about health and wellness, colonization, addictions, family violence, abuse, self-esteem, and culture. The work also includes facilitating after-school groups and supporting culture camps.
Key Responsibilities:
Support daily operations of Youth Services programs
Provide educational opportunities across youth wellness and culture topics
Evaluate crisis situations and follow established support procedures
Facilitate life skills workshops in after-school groups
Assist with culture camp coordination and implementation
Requirements:
One-year post-secondary degree or diploma in Child and Youth Care
Social Work or related post-secondary education
Experience working in a leadership capacity with youth
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Bring youth leadership, crisis response, educational programming, and cultural support skills to CSFS Youth Services in Prince George.
