Personal Care Support Worker Extendicare

Bring personal care and resident support skills to Extendicare as a casual Personal Support Worker in Burloak. Strong interpersonal communication matters.
This part-time position supports residents and clients under supervisor direction while following Extendicare standards, policies, and procedures. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, safe transfers, confidentiality, and responding to resident or family concerns. The role requires sound organization and time management.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, hygiene, and daily living assistance
Plan and prepare nutritious meals when required
Facilitate resident moves and transfers where applicable
Maintain confidentiality of resident and client information
Respond to concerns and communicate appropriately
Requirements:
Minimum 600-hour Ontario or Alberta equivalent program certificate
Demonstrated knowledge of personal care duties
Strong organizational and time management skills
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid
Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
Use personal care knowledge, organization, and resident-focused communication to support daily care at Extendicare in Burloak.
