Certified Education Assistant Duncan Cran

Support student learning and safety as a Certified Education Assistant at Duncan Cran Elementary School, with daily lunch monitoring and school meals duties.
Reporting to Administrative Officers, you will assist teachers and District personnel with educational programs and student care. The assignment supports special needs students, learning disabilities, modified and alternate programs, and occasional small-group pull-out support. This is a collaborative school-based position.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide instructional support and feedback on daily student work
Implement behaviour management and intensive intervention programs
Provide personal, health care, and physical safety assistance
Supervise students in classrooms, playgrounds, buses, and field trips
Monitor lunch periods and perform school meals duties
Requirements:
Education Assistant Certificate with documented specialized training
Grade 12 or equivalency and Food Safe Certificate
Class 5 Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle access
Maintain current CPI status and obtain required First Aid
Pass Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Search before starting
Bring student support, behaviour intervention, and collaborative education assistance skills to Duncan Cran Elementary School’s daily programs.
