Live Events Technical Operations Manager

Manage live-show technical operations with audio-visual expertise, team leadership, and customer satisfaction focus at Fairmont Banff Springs.
As Encore’s Event Audio Visual Operations Manager, you will direct technicians and operational support staff throughout daily event workflows. The work includes equipment readiness, inventory control, billing approval, cost-efficiency recommendations, and onsite service. You will also mentor staff, support training, and address performance management while maintaining Encore standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure equipment and services arrive on time and specified
Review quotes and recommend cost efficiencies
Approve client billing and identify potential challenges
Supervise, mentor, and develop operational team members
Train staff on company systems and software
Requirements:
High School Diploma required
Four-plus years audio visual and customer service experience
Two-plus years supervisory experience or Encore ADOP completion
Experience leading workflow and team members
Effective leadership and customer satisfaction abilities
Use live-event audio-visual knowledge, staff development, and workflow leadership to deliver Encore service at the Banff location.
