Our client is seeking an experienced Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and financial reporting in a large, multi-entity organization.

Responsibilities:

Support month-end and quarter-end close.

Prepare journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.

Complete intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain fixed asset schedules and handle lease accounting.

Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules.

Assist with accounting process improvements.

Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience in full-cycle accounting and month-end close.

Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany, fixed assets and leases.

Proficiency with a large ERP system and Excel.

CPA designation or progress toward completion is an asset.

Availability for a

6-month contract, working onsite in Vaughan 5 days per week .
