Warehouse Lift Truck Operator

Drive and inspect lift trucks in Maple for GMS Canada, supporting safe warehouse operations, accurate shipments, and building-material delivery.
This Forklift Operator role combines warehouse driving with load preparation, unloading, and shipment coordination. You will follow regulations, company policies, management instructions, and required procedures while maintaining contact with supervisors. The role requires propane certification, two years' experience, physical lifting ability, and prolonged driving.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspections and complete lift truck documentation
Monitor servicing needs and maintain operational requirements
Unload building materials safely from warehouse deliveries
Follow management shipping instructions and schedules
Represent the company with employees and customers
Requirements:
Valid propane lift truck certification
Minimum two years' relevant experience
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Comfort sitting and driving for long periods
Ability to pull, push, bend, and twist with weight
Use lift truck expertise, safety procedures, and physical warehouse skills to support GMS Canada’s Maple distribution operations.
