Personal Care Home Support Assistant

Work in person at Boyne Lodge in Carman, helping residents maintain dignity through daily care, household support, and respectful communication.
The Resident Assistant supports people living in a Personal Care Home under the direction of nursing team leaders. This permanent position includes days, evenings, and weekends, with occasional travel to regional facilities as duties require. You will contribute to nutrition, stimulating activities, laundry, housekeeping, and resident wellbeing while respecting confidentiality and cultural diversity.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote resident dignity and quality of life
Assist with daily living activities and resident care
Support nutrition and stimulating activities
Complete laundry and housekeeping tasks
Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff
Requirements:
Health Care Aide Certificate from recognized program
One to two years healthcare experience preferred
Knowledge of PHIA and FIPPA confidentiality requirements
Knowledge of WHMIS, VPP, and SCHIPP processes
Valid Class 5 licence, insured vehicle, and liability insurance
Support Southern Health-Santé Sud residents with compassionate care, confidentiality, teamwork, and reliable service at Boyne Lodge.
