Heavy Equipment Operator Highland Valley Copper

Operate excavators and dozers at Highland Valley Copper near Logan Lake, BC, supporting construction, road building, and site infrastructure.
This full-time Equipment Operator position supports a multi-year Site Wide Services construction project through 2027. You will operate heavy equipment, perform civil construction tasks, and maintain safe work zones. The schedule is 14 days on, 7 days off, with 10-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate excavators, dozers, graders, haul trucks, loaders, and skid steers
Perform grading, leveling, trenching, backfilling, and road building
Support laydown yards, berm construction, and utility trenching
Complete pre-operational inspections and basic equipment care
Follow safe dig protocols around utilities and underground hazards
Requirements:
Two to three years operating excavators and dozers
Heavy civil construction experience, including grading and road construction
Experience around underground utilities or active mine sites
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence required
Physical ability to work 10-hour shifts in changing conditions
Bring heavy equipment operation, safety awareness, and civil construction experience to Highland Valley Copper site services.
