Shared Health seeks a Service Worker for its non-clinical operations at Selkirk Mental Health Centre. The work combines housekeeping, cleaning, food preparation, patient interaction, and customer service. You will prioritize competing deadlines while working independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties in the healthcare environment
Prepare food and operate food service equipment safely
Work with patients at Selkirk Mental Health Centre
Maintain building inventory when required
Relieve for the cook when required
Requirements:
Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or food handling environments
Customer service experience
Knowledge of cleaning practices and equipment
Ability to prioritize daily work and competing deadlines
Physical ability to lift, carry, and stand eight-hour shifts
