Coordinate freight movements as a Load Planner in Brampton, Ontario, using load optimization and Excel analysis. Work four days in office and one day from home.
Kelly seeks a detail-oriented Load Planner to manage daily transportation activities. You will coordinate buyers, vendors, dispatch teams, and carriers while supporting efficient freight execution. The position requires transportation experience, strong organization, and clear stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan daily over-the-road freight movements for timely deliveries
Optimize truck utilization, routing, and shipment consolidation
Coordinate suppliers and dispatch teams for freight readiness
Resolve scheduling conflicts and transportation disruptions
Track shipments and analyze transportation trends for improvements
Requirements:
Three to five years in transportation, logistics, or dispatch
Post-secondary supply chain or logistics education preferred
Understanding of load planning and carrier capacity management
Microsoft Office 365 and strong Excel data analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
