Oncology Pharmacy Technician Oshawa

Prepare sterile antineoplastic doses at Lakeridge Health Oshawa as a Pharmacy Technician supporting oncology patients and retail pharmacy services.
This temporary part time, six month contract serves the Retail Pharmacy program within Pharmacy Services. The position includes days, evenings, and eight hour shifts subject to change. You will prepare oncology medications, dispense prescriptions, and support medication access.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare safe sterile antineoplastic drug doses
Prepare dosage forms for oncology patient treatment
Dispense clinical trial medications as appropriate
Dispense outpatient prescriptions through retail pharmacy services
Maintain stock and assist with medication coverage access
Requirements:
Registration with Ontario College of Pharmacists as an RPhT
Graduation from a CCAPP accredited technician program
Preferred two years hospital experience including sterile compounding
Preferred chemotherapy preparation and antineoplastic handling experience
Effective communication, organization, judgement, and keyboarding skills
