Pharmacy Technician Prescription Workflow

Build prescription workflow expertise as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician, handling data entry, refill processing, medication selection, and labeling.
Shoppers Drug Mart is seeking a technician to support prescription preparation and pharmacy services. You will receive new and repeat orders, select medications, maintain applicable pharmacy-system data, and help deliver timely customer service. The work also includes third-party billing, documentation, and referrals to pharmacists.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive new and repeat prescription orders
Process refill requests and enter prescription information
Select medications according to Pharmacy Standards of Practice
Prepare and submit permitted prescription orders
File completed documentation accurately
Requirements:
Registration with the corresponding provincial licensing college
Pharmacy Technician College diploma
Previous pharmacy experience preferred
Ability to multitask with effective organization
Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented skills
Bring prescription workflow, pharmacy-system, and documentation skills to support accurate services as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician.
