Use grinders, cutting torches, and hydraulic presses as a full-time Rigging Fabrication Technician in Red Deer, Alberta.
Continental Chain & Rigging, part of Hercules Group of Companies, supports customers through lifting and rigging services. This hands-on position involves building slings, installing winch cable, operating equipment, and preparing outgoing products. Training is provided for drawing interpretation and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Build slings to customer specifications and standards
Use grinders, cut-off saws, torches, and spoolers
Install and secure winch cable on bed trucks
Receive supplies and document material usage
Support other shop areas when needed
Requirements:
Comfort with tools, equipment, and fabrication tasks
Safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
Effective communication in a busy shop environment
Good organizational skills and basic math ability
Valid Class 5 driver's licence
