Carefor needs a Personal Support Worker for resident care, daily living assistance, and homemaking at Richmond Care Home.
This Resident Care Worker supports residents according to care plans and directions from nurses or managers. Responsibilities span activities of daily living, delegated tasks, meals, cleaning, laundry, outings, and safety monitoring. The role also requires reporting condition changes and communicating with the broader healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily living support, including personal and bedside care
Perform delegated tasks under supervisor or registered staff direction
Plan meals and manage special dietary needs
Clean rooms, bathrooms, floors, windows, and other surfaces
Accompany residents to outings or appointments when necessary
Requirements:
Personal Support Worker, Home Support Worker, or Health Care Aide certificate
Current Standard First Aid certification
Current CPR Level C certification
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Dementia education or courses considered an asset
Use your personal care, homemaking, and communication abilities to help Carefor residents maintain safety, independence, and wellbeing.
