Security Guard Use Of Force

Apply certified use-of-force techniques and verbal de-escalation while protecting people, property, and premises across Edmonton-area client sites.
Securitas Canada Limited is hiring full-time and part-time Security Tactical Guards. This position requires an Alberta Security Services License, current PPCT, CTSS, or equivalent certification, and tactical communication training. Guards manage access, enforce site directives, respond to disturbances, and document incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
De-escalate situations using verbal communication techniques
Control facility access through identity verification and screening
Enforce site regulations, policies, and directives
Use radios and security systems to coordinate activities
Provide customer service while maintaining secure environments
Requirements:
Ability to remain calm under high pressure
Physical capability for patrol and incident response duties
Strong verbal and written English communication
Strong report-writing and observational abilities
Valid First Aid/CPR certification considered an asset
Bring tactical certification, conflict-resolution skills, and disciplined communication to Security Tactical Guard assignments with Securitas Canada Limited.
