Dietary Aide Food Service Eriksdale

Support patient food service at EM Crowe Hospital in Eriksdale through safe preparation, sanitation, and courteous customer service. This non-clinical role serves diverse community needs.
As a Dietary Aide with Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority, you will work under the Manager, Support Services and Cook. The position supports food preparation and service for patients, residents, staff, volunteers, visitors, and community programs. Therapeutic diets, texture modification, equipment operation, communication, and health regulations are central to the work.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve food to patients, residents, and staff
Support Meals on Wheels, Supportive Housing, and Adult Day services
Provide catering and visitor food service
Maintain safety, sanitation, and policy standards
Deliver courteous and effective customer service
Requirements:
Valid Food Handlers Certificate, current or obtained within six months
Knowledge of therapeutic diets and texture modification
Experience in health care or commercial food service
Ability to operate required equipment
Effective oral and written English communication skills
Bring food service experience, therapeutic diet knowledge, and sanitation practices to Dietary Aide work at EM Crowe Hospital.
