As a Logistics Coordinator, you will manage inbound transportation for a well-established food industry company. The position centers on cross-border processes, import and export permits, temperature monitoring, carrier negotiations, and shipment tracking. You will provide dependable ETAs while resolving issues that affect delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Review customs documentation for smooth border clearance
Manage import and export permit renewals
Negotiate transportation rates with carriers
Maintain carrier relationships and resolve shipment problems
Monitor transit temperatures and take corrective action
Requirements:
Two or more years in import/export coordination
Fluent spoken and written French and English
Solid knowledge of cross-border customs processes
Strong negotiation and real-time problem-solving abilities
Availability outside regular office hours when needed
Bring cross-border coordination, carrier negotiation, and customs documentation skills to keep Canadian food imports moving reliably.
