Hospital Housekeeping Aide Richmond

Support safe hospital care with Vancouver Coastal Health as a Housekeeping Aide at Richmond Hospital in Richmond, BC. Perform medical cleaning and disinfecting.
This Housekeeping Aide position supports a client and family centered care model. You will maintain clinical and non-clinical areas while protecting patients, residents, families, visitors, and staff. Duties include floor maintenance, waste removal, bed-making, and equipment cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:
Damp dust and wet mop facility floors
Clean and disinfect rooms, washrooms, walls, and equipment
Maintain and refinish floors using appropriate equipment
Collect regular and biomedical waste
Complete spill clean-up and bed-making
Requirements:
Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Physical ability to carry out assigned duties
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deal effectively with others
Ability to organize work and operate related equipment
Bring organized cleaning, disinfecting, communication, and equipment operation skills to Environmental Services at Richmond Hospital.
