The Teaching Assistant position serves Sport Management students and follows Article 22 of the CUPE Local 4207 agreement. Responsibilities combine classroom contact with preparation and academic support outside class. The assignment can include seminar materials, office hours, grading, examination proctoring, lecture attendance, consultations, and other required course administration.
Key Responsibilities:

Attend lectures and scheduled classes as assigned
Explain SPMA 2P65 subject material to students
Prepare seminar content and supporting materials
Provide office hours and student consultations
Proctor examinations and complete grading duties
Requirements:

Earned at least 80% in the course
Third or fourth-year Sport Management student
Sport Management degree or equivalent also qualifies
Effective communication and clear instructional explanations
Punctual attendance and ability to meet deadlines
Use academic achievement and Sport Management communication skills to support SPMA 2P65 students through teaching assistance.
