Full-Time Cashier Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu

Serve customers at Giant Tiger in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu as a full-time Cashier using electronic registers and self-checkouts. Day shifts, two evenings weekly, and alternating weekends form the typical schedule.
This full-time Cashier role supports Giant Tiger’s checkout experience and store operations. You will record transactions accurately, replenish checkout merchandise, and maintain an organized work area. The position also requires health and safety, loss prevention, Tobacco, and Lottery compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high customer service at checkout areas
Record transactions using registers and self-checkouts
Replenish merchandise around checkout areas
Keep checkout workspaces clean and organized
Follow loss prevention and safety guidelines
Requirements:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service skills
Attention to detail during transactions
Ability to work independently and with teams
Ability to lift or move up to 18 kilograms
