Deliver geriatric nursing care with AgeCare as a Registered Practical Nurse, supporting residents and guiding Personal Support Workers. Canadian experience is not required.
This Registered Practical Nurse provides professional care according to medical requirements and nursing practice. You will collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, external partners, and the broader healthcare team. The work includes resident-status communication, shift reporting, policy implementation, and support for care needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional nursing care to residents
Direct Personal Support Workers on the care team
Implement AgeCare policies with the Registered Nurse
Notify physicians about significant resident-status changes
Participate in shift reports and resident-care coordination
Requirements:

Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
Understanding of activation, nursing, and personnel administration
Knowledge of applicable nursing-home legislation and standards
Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certificate of Competence
Membership in good standing with the College
Bring long-term care knowledge, professional nursing practice, and resident-focused coordination to AgeCare as a Registered Practical Nurse.
